POP STAGE Experience – Performers

The Pop Stage Experience is a FREE, six-day musical theater boot camp for performers ages 13 and older with base access, brought to you by the Air Force’s Arts in the Armed Forces program. This high-energy, 1980s-inspired theater experience builds confidence, introduces military families to the performing arts, and strengthens our base community through creativity and collaboration. Fairchild is one of only 10 bases selected for this exclusive opportunity—don’t miss your chance to shine!

🙌 Who Should Join?
Performers with base access, ages 13+—whether you’re a seasoned actor or stepping on stage for the first time. Arrive early on July 21 ready to audition and begin your transformation from music lover to stage sensation! (Ask the RMC about song selection options.)
Meet Your Directors – All the Way from San Antonio, TX
🎭 Shawn Kjos – Over 25 years in theater, theme park, and cruise ship entertainment with 30+ local and national awards for directing, costuming, performance, and production.
🎭 Robert Olivas – Directed over 40 plays and served as tech director for 130+ productions. Winner of dozens of awards, including Best Lighting Designer of San Antonio and multiple honors for scenic design and overall production.
