<h2>2024 America's Armed Forces Kids Run</h2>Join us for the 2024 America's Armed Forces Kids Run, a celebration of our nation's youngest heroes, proudly initiated right here in Spokane. All are invited to join the world's largest children's running event. Let's come together, rejoice, and make memories! Over the years, 120,000 young runners have earned their own commemorative tee shirts by completing this annual spring run. Recognized nationally by esteemed publications such as National Geographic World, Runner's World, and USA Today, it was voted Best Children's Run by Runner's World in May 2003.<h4>Event Details:</h4>Date: May 18 Location: Warrior Park Start Time: First run kicks off at 2:30 PM Price/Registration: FREE! Just show up! Distances: Take your pick from 1/2 mile, 1 mile, and 2 mile heats. T-shirt: Snag your FREE Kid's Run T-Shirt, available while supplies last. The T-Shirt tent opens at 2 PM, so don't miss out!Please note: This is a fun run and does not include awards of any kind. For inquiries, call the Teen Center at 509-247-8043.History: Celebrating its 38th year, America’s Kids Run stands as the largest children’s running event globally, with participation from military bases and beyond. Originally known as Junior Bloomsday in 1986, this event was conceived as a more manageable alternative to the challenging 7.46-mile Bloomsday run. After 16 years of success, it evolved into America’s Kids Run to encompass its growing national and international reach, serving military dependents across the USA, as well as in Bahrain, Greece, Puerto Rico, Germany, Japan, Iceland, England, and Italy. Join us in honoring our young champions and making this year's run the best one yet &nbsp;
