Bowl Turning Class
Discover the art of woodturning in this exciting three-day class! Using a lathe, youโll transform a solid block of wood into a beautifully crafted wooden bowl thatโs both functional and artistic. Whether displayed on its own or paired with your handcrafted cutting board, each finished bowl highlights the natural character of the wood โ and no two are ever alike.
With guidance from experienced instructors, participants will build confidence working on the lathe while developing skills that extend well beyond this project.

Who Can Participate
โข Open to all DoD ID card holders ages 18 and older
Requirements
โข Completion of the Wood Craft Center qualification course โ Cutting Board Class and Intro to Fine Woodworking โ is required prior to enrollment
