Take our Qualification Bypass Test, the express route to accessing our top-notch facilities. It’s a breeze, consisting of written and practical tests. Fast-track your journey to becoming a woodworking wizard! The Bypass Test consists of two written and one practical test:

  • Shop Safety test
  • 42 question Woodworker test
  • Hands-On test Price: $50 per person

The Magic Wand Turning Class is a 1-day, 3 1/2-hour session held at the Wood Craft Center, with a focus on teaching participants how to spin wood on a lathe. If Harry Potter had taken this class, he might not have needed to go to Diagon Alley to purchase his wand. Here are some key details about the class:

Advanced Pen Making Class

Elevate Your Woodworking Skills!

The Advanced Pen Making Class is a 1-day, 3-hour session held at the Wood Craft Center, with a focus on teaching participants how to use advanced techniques using acrylic and other materials. Here are some key details about the class:

Participants: Ages 18+
Duration: a single, 3 hr session
Prerequisite: Qualifications Course.
NOTE: Classes are NOT scheduled every month.
Price: $60 / person (materials included)

The Intro to Fine Woodworking Hidden Compartment Box Class is a 4-day, 3-hour session held at the Wood Craft Center, with a focus on teaching participants how make a keepsake box with compartment inside with no hardware. Here are some key details about the class:
Participants: Ages 18+
This class is Part 2 of 2 in the Wood Craft Center qualification program.
Completion of the Cutting Board Class (Part 1) is required prior to enrollment. Once both classes are completed, participants are qualified to use Wood Craft Center equipment independently.
Price: $75 / person – materials not included

Craft and Create Your Culinary Masterpiece!

The Cutting Board Class is held at the Wood Craft Center, with a focus on teaching participants how to create unique kitchen tool in the Cutting Board Class. Here are some key details about the class:
Participants: Ages 18+
Prerequisite: Basic Pen Making
This class is Part 1 of 2 in the Wood Craft Center qualification program.
The second required class is Intro to Fine Woodworking. Once both classes are completed, participants are qualified to use the Wood Craft Center equipment independently.
Price: $70 / person – materials included
