What Is the Program?
A dynamic recognition program celebrating the people who power the mission—fueling morale, unity, and warfighter readiness across 92 FSS.
Mission Statement:
To Fuel the Fight across all 92 FSS operations by honoring the core values that keep Fairchild mission-ready—through quality of life operations that support the warrior, their families, and the entire community.
Core Values:
| Value | Meaning |
| Character | Shapes our moral compass guided by Integrity |
| Compassion | Transforms routine support into meaningful Service |
| Competence | Drives Excellence to elevate mission readiness |
| Commander’s Chip | Recognition for exemplifying Competence, Character, and Compassion, earning all three chips and completing the Fuel 2 Fight series. The Commander’s Chip is personally awarded by the Commander along with the display, signifying full recognition across all core values. |

Recognition Examples
Here’s a short list of chip-worthy actions tailored to each job unit, with examples tied back to the three core values (Competence, Character, Compassion). You can use this as a guide to help recognize what deserves a chip and connect it back to the mission.Â

Character
- Advocated for a fair hiring process when inconsistencies were found.
Compassion
- Spent extra time with a grieving family to walk them through benefits and entitlements.
Awarding Employees
