Camp Create – Day 3
A FREE Week of Creativity, Crafts & Summer Fun!
Hosted by the Arts & Crafts Center with support from the USAF Arts in the Forces Program: Color Me Happy.
Spend your summer creating, crafting, and exploring at Camp Create — a week-long arts & crafts experience designed especially for Fairchild youth!
Each day features two fun, guided projects where kids can paint, build, decorate, and create using a variety of materials and artistic styles. From Bigfoot ceramics and glitter sun catchers to friendship jewelry and birdhouses, every day brings a new creative adventure.

Event Details:
Dates: June 22–26
Time: Daily Drop-In • 9 AM – 5 PM
Location: Arts & Crafts Center | 610 N Depot Rd, Fairchild AFB
Who: Open to Fairchild AFB youth ages 17 and under. Parents must remain with children.
Cost: FREE — just drop by when you have time!
All supplies are included while supplies last, and staff will be on-site throughout the week to provide guidance and assistance.

The “Take-Home” Kit:
Every camper will create a personalized drawstring bag at the start of the week to carry home their masterpieces and camp creations.

• Wednesday, June 24
PNW Legend Ceramics — Paint your own Bigfoot figurine
Glitter Sun Catchers — Design colorful translucent art that shines in sunlight
• Thursday, June 25
Musical Wind Chimes — Paint and assemble your own garden wind chimes
Birdhouses — Decorate a home for local Fairchild birds
• Friday, June 26
Kindness Rocks — Paint rocks to hide around base or display at home
Garden Starter Pots — Decorate a planter and plant colorful flower seeds

Daily Rewards:
• Refreshments available while supplies last
• Participate for a daily entry into the end-of-week raffle featuring prizes from the Engraving, Balloon, and Wood Craft Center. Winners will be contacted; no need to be present to win!

Camp Create encourages creativity, self-expression, fine motor skills, and community connection in a safe, welcoming environment for youth of all skill levels.
With flexible drop-in hours, Camp Create is a fun and easy summer activity designed to fit busy military family schedules.
