Course Description:
The Cutting Board Class is a great opportunity for individuals interested in woodworking, crafting, and creating a practical yet aesthetically pleasing kitchen accessory. This class offers participants the opportunity to learn woodworking skills and create a custom designed cutting board. Students will learn how to take rough lumber and transform it into a flat and square, usable product. The process includes milling the wood and then gluing it together to craft a beautiful cutting board.

By completing this class, students will gain the qualifications to safely and properly use woodworking equipment in the wood shop on their own. The class serves as a learning platform for woodworking fundamentals, making it an ideal choice for those interested in hand-made kitchen accessories and woodworking.

Each student will leave with their own hand-made cutting board, which is not only a functional kitchen tool but also a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. With proper care, it is designed to last not only a lifetime but can also become an heirloom piece passed down to future generations.
