Join the "Fins" Swim Team
The new Fairchild Novice Swim team invites ages 5-17 to join up! Kids will have practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays as they have FUN exercising and partnering with teammates!

Welcome to Our Aquatic Center – Let's Keep It Safe and Fun for Everyone
At our Aquatic Center, safety and enjoyment go hand in hand. We believe that a well-informed and considerate community is essential for creating a space where everyone can relish the benefits of our swimming pool facilities. This section outlines our pool rules, designed with your well-being and pleasure in mind. By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure a harmonious experience for all visitors. Let's work together to make every swim a refreshing and memorable one.
- The pool is ready when our lifeguards give the green light – safety first!
- Kids under 10 should have an adult (18 or older) with them.
- Kids aged 11-13 who haven't aced the swim test need an adult supervisor (18 or older). The test involves a 25-meter swim and treading water for 1 minute.
- No food, drinks, gum, or smoking near the pool – let's keep it clean!
- No alcoholic beverages, glass containers, or overly enthusiastic individuals.
- During open swim, only properly fitting USCG-approved PFDs (Types I, II, or III) are good to go.
- Hit the showers before taking a plunge – it's the polite thing to do.
- No running, wrestling, or piggyback rides – we want everyone to stay safe.
- Use the ladders for a graceful exit.
- Our lifeguards are the bosses – please follow their instructions.
- No object-throwing of any kind – we aim to keep it hazard-free.
- Sport proper swimwear at all times – safety is key!
- Little ones who aren't potty-trained should wear swim diapers.
- For the sake of everyone's health, if you have contagious illnesses, open sores, or lesions, we kindly ask you to stay out of the pool.
- Kids under 16, take the swim test to enjoy deep water or any thrilling deep-water attractions.
- Our lifeguards need to approve your pool or aquatic toys – safety checks make a splash.
- Lifeguards may call for a 15-minute break at the top of each hour during open swim.
- In case of an emergency, we've got a phone in the pool office – don't hesitate to ask for help.
- No breath-holding contests or marathon underwater swims, please.
- While we love our furry friends, pets aren't allowed in the pool area (except for service dogs assisting people with disabilities, and working dogs with handlers as needed in swimming pool areas).
- Now, let's dive in and have a fantastic time at the pool!
