Freedom 5k Run

Join Team Fairchild as we kick off Independence Day celebrations early and honor the 250th Birthday of the United States! Whether you’re running the full 5K, enjoying the 1.5-mile route, or simply showing your patriotic spirit, this FREE community event is a fun way to celebrate freedom, fitness, and friendship.

Bring your family, friends, and coworkers for an afternoon of fresh air, community pride, and patriotic fun. Participants can choose between a 5K or 1.5-mile route along the Outdoor Hospital Loop. After crossing the finish line, enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks while celebrating with fellow participants.

Time: 3:30–(event concludes when the final participant finishes)
Location: Start across from the Fitness Center; route follows the Outdoor Hospital Loop
Cost: FREE
Registration: No sign-up required—just show up and participate!
Eligibility: Open to all Team Fairchild members with base access. All ages welcome.

Patriotic Attire Encouraged
Show your American pride by wearing red, white, and blue, a patriotic shirt, or your favorite freedom-themed attire as we celebrate America’s 250-year legacy.

Commemorative Finisher Pin
The first 50 finishers will receive an exclusive collector’s pin commemorating the Freedom 5K and America’s 250th Birthday celebration.
