Reading Reflections Drop-in Crafts
Celebrate the Reading Reflections Winter Reading Challenge with a fun and creative drop-in craft week at the Library! Bring the family and enjoy a cozy week of hands-on creativity. Kids can make adorable winter animals, bright aurora-inspired art, and moreโall at their own pace. Itโs a great way to add a little extra fun to your winter!
Dates: January 12โ17 (during Library hours)
Location: Fairchild Library (Education Center)
Who: Open to all Fairchild AFB families (activities geared toward kids)
Cost/Registration: FREE! No sign-up requiredโjust drop in!
Craft Options (while supplies last):
Stand-Up Polar Bears โ Build your own winter scene with cut-out polar bears and icy backgrounds.
Pinecone Owl Craft โ Create a fluffy winter owl using a pinecone, cotton โsnow,โ googly eyes, and felt details.
Northern Lights Chalk Art โ Use chalk pastels on black paper to recreate the shimmering aurora.
Winter Wand Twirlers โ Twist colorful pipe cleaners and beads into sparkly โnorthern lightsโ swirl decorations.
